The garden and nursery have developed over 20 years from a small garden and a large field in the heart of the Worcester countryside.
The nursery specialises in Hardy Geraniums, and has built up a collection of approximately 200 varieties. The nursery is also home to other interesting herbaceous plants, many of which can be seen growing in the gardens.
The garden is composed of many areas, a small spring wild flower meadow filled with fritillaries, a stream garden, woodland bed, rockery, rose garden, formal pond garden and extensive shrub and herbaceous beds.
Since my debut on Gardeners World at the end of May this year, orders for geraniums (and other herbaceous plants as well) have simply poured in. The power of television is incredible. The camera crew were here for the entire day and yet it was only on for 4 minutes, but the photography of the geraniums was superb.
It has renewed an interest in geraniums for some gardeners and introduced others to geraniums who were not familiar with them.
The interest has been overwhelming and so I have decided to continue doing mail order for another season at least.
From the end of July visits to the nursery and garden will only be by appointment.
Groups will still be very welcome.
I hope this will satisfy all those people who have said you can't finish we have only just found you !!
After running the Nursery for 25 years it will be great to have a little more freedom to do some of the things I have been restricted in doing such as going to visit other gardens at times when they are looking really good.
